I have learned much about astronomy over the past few years, most of it has come from my
interest in the subject and seeking answers. One very good read that I suggest for anyone
who has at least a slight interest in the subject is located at Bad Astronomy,
This site was created by a professor at Sonoma State University who wishes to dispel many myths
related to astronomy. It is a very good site for those who do not know much about astronomy, it is
written in such a way that most can understand. Also, it is a fun site in that it shows the "Bad Astronomy" in many
popular movies.
Many of the statistics in this section are taken from National Geographic Encyclopedia of Space by Linda K. Glover and the
NASA website.
